The main applications are ozone generation, oil and grease destruction, disinfection and purification, and ultrapure water production (185 nm low pressure UV lamps, medium pressure UV lamps for Deep Purple). Medium and high voltage arc lamps, excimer lamps; fiber optic base tubes, cladding sleeves and so on.

Synthetic quartz tubes are fused from a high purity synthetic quartz sand masterbatch with extremely low bubble levels and very high UV transmittance, making them ideal for use in germicidal lamps or fiber optic processes.
